Some entertainment is watched. Comedy Walkabout Characters happen right in the middle of your event.
One moment your guests are chatting amongst themselves, the next they are being drawn into an absurd conversation with a pair of Georgian aristocrats, encountering suspiciously eccentric Victorian rugby players or finding themselves caught up in the antics of mischievous Christmas elves.
There is no script your guests need to follow and no stage demanding their attention. The performers roam naturally through the event, using improvisation, character comedy and quick thinking to create spontaneous encounters around the people they meet.
With characters spanning different periods, themes and occasions, the entertainment can be matched to your event while still giving every guest interaction the unpredictability that makes great walkabout comedy so much fun.
Bring unexpected characters, conversations and comedy directly amongst your guests.

Why Choose This Act
Comedy Walkabout Characters are a particularly flexible choice when you want entertainment running throughout an event without interrupting its natural flow.
Rather than delivering the same routine repeatedly, experienced performers adapt their conversations and comedy to the guests in front of them. This makes the entertainment suitable for mixed audiences and allows quieter interactions or bigger comic moments to develop naturally.
The range of available characters also means the entertainment can be selected around the setting and purpose of your event. Historical characters can complement heritage venues and themed occasions, while Christmas, vintage and theatrical characters can provide a completely different atmosphere.
With no conventional audience or fixed stage required, they are especially useful for events where guests are moving between different areas or arriving at different times.
