How to make a stand-up show a success and get the most out of it?
Many of our clients wonder if a stand-up show is suitable for their event. The answer we always give is:

“Of course, it is, provided it is well-planned and skillfully executed.”

In practice, this means that:

• You must hire performers completely capable of varying their shows so that they fit your event's requirements at all times. For example, they need to be prepared to provide an entertaining 30 minutes cabaret show, a light 10-minute spot, and anything in between, per request.
  
  
• The room where a stand-up show will take place has to be free from activities, other than the stand-up show itself. We need the audience’s full attention to make a stand-up show a hit.
  
  
• Timing is everything. So, schedule the show at a time when your guests are feeling relaxed and are already seated (i.e. after the speeches or after the meal). That way, you ensure the show will get their attention.
  
  
• Have the front row as close to the performer as possible to help create an ideal atmosphere and allow the performer to interact with the audience better. If the show involves mind reading and some magic, this is a top requirement.
  
  
• If you are hosting the show in a large function room, have the performer stand on a platform and seat everyone else on the same level so that your guests can have a better view of the show.
