Once we have agreed on the basic outline of the entertainment, we issue a booking contract that you return to us within 7 days. This will secure your act.

Prices vary depending on many factors such as the type or size of the event, duration of the performance, weekday or weekend or the number of members in the Act/Band.

Well, we don't take a large agency fee for starters - and what makes us different from the other entertainment companies is that we localise our acts, and because we look after our entertainers they work harder for you. All acts give Chosen Events a very competitive fee because we guarantee them repeat business and keep them as busy as possible.

As we are a UK wide company operating hundreds of events per month, legally we have to be VAT registered and as such need to charge VAT on all jobs.

Yes, without a doubt! We issue you a booking contract that you need to sign and return to us within 3 days. This will secure your act.

The booking contract features the details specific to you and the terms and conditions reinforce the contract itself.

We accept bank transfers (BACS or CHAPS) and don't except cheque payment.

We also accept credit/debit card payment subject to a 3.5% surcharge to cover the cost of the merchant service charge.

Unfortunately, there are rare occasions where a customer needs to cancel the booking of their entertainment. Because the act has been holding the date for you and may now face the very realistic prospect of not being able to refill the date and therefore lose revenue a cancellation charge will be applicable.

Chosen Events terms and conditions outline the cancellation fee based on the date of cancellation in line with the date of the event.

However, in some circumstances, a cancellation may be made with no additional charges being applicable (other than the loss of the booking deposit). This is where the cancellation falls into the category of ‘Force Majeure’.

Due to a number of reasons including the health and safety of the performers and guests, performers cannot be expected to perform in rain or bad weather conditions. If the performer has arrived and has made reasonable attempts at finding an alternative area to perform, you will be charged the full amount agreed on the contract.

Once you’ve booked, the act will contact you 2 weeks leading up to your event date to discuss the finer details and to ensure your requirements haven’t changed etc.

Most performers will not make site visits as they’re not necessary and they do not charge enough money to be able to afford to give up a day to do so. If there is an extraordinary circumstance which demands a site visit, it can be arranged with Chosen Events and a fee will be charged to cover time and travel.

It depends on the type of venue, likely attendance and the sort of impact you want to make. With some basic details, we can offer a range of suggestions. For example: Is the event indoors or outdoors? Daytime or evening? Family or adult orientated? Seated or free standing? Is there space available for a fixed performance area?
