The Motown Vibrations curate their setlist with great care, encompassing a wide range of music spanning from the 1960s to the present day. Their repertoire includes timeless Motown classics from iconic artists such as Aretha Franklin and Martha Reeves and the Vandellas. They also groove to the funk and soul hits of legends like Stevie Wonder and The Jackson 5, as well as disco standards from artists like CeCe Peniston and Chaka Khan. In addition, they bring the party to life with contemporary chart-toppers from Bruno Mars, Adele, and Amy Winehouse. Many of their songs are masterfully arranged as medleys, seamlessly transitioning from one hit to another, ensuring an uninterrupted flow that will keep your guests on their feet.

For larger line-ups, the Motown Vibrations offer the option to incorporate a group of contemporary dancers into their performance. These talented dancers deliver captivating choreographed routines alongside the band, adding a spectacular burst of energy to the show.

CONTEMPORARY DANCERS
2 to 8 dancers can be added to the line-up when booking the 12-piece band and above for a spectacular stage show.

BACKGROUND AND DRINKS RECEPTION MUSIC
Musicians from The Motown Vibrations can perform in smaller ensembles providing background music earlier in the day.

Options available include:

• Vocal-led roaming pop band (3- to 7-piece) performing walkabout music
• Instrumental jazz bands, from a cocktail pianist to a jazz quartet
• Vocal-led soul bands, performing relaxed pop and soul music

CEREMONY MUSIC
The Motown Vibrations can also provide classical or contemporary music for your wedding reception.  The Bandleader is a highly trained pianist and church organist and has played at over 500 wedding ceremonies. He will work with you to choose music that suits your religious or non-religious ceremony. 

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION
The Motown Vibrations are self-contained for events with up to 200 guests, although if you have a production company at your event we suggest sending a feed from our mixing desk to the front-of-house PA. Please get in touch if you’d like to see the band’s tech specs.

DELUXE SOUND & LIGHTING PACKAGE
Highly recommended for events with more than 250 guests, essential for events with more than 500 guests.
