Alice in Horrorland
Something has gone horribly wrong in Wonderland! Maybe there was something in the tea or maybe Alice went the wrong way down the rabbit hole – either way, your favourite childhood story has taken a dark and twisted turn. Once a peaceful bedtime story for children, now only adults dare enter Horrorland.... although they may soon regret it, as they are gleefully kidnapped by the maniac smiling denizens of this chaotic fantasy. Make your guests scream with laughter and question their sanity... Will they survive the bloodthirsty rages of the Red Queen? Will they be driven mad just like Alice? There's only one way to find out!”
Available Characters:
- Queen of Hearts (stilts)
- White Rabbit (bouncy stilts)
- Mad Hatter (stilts)
- Alice (stilts or on foot)
Character options: Minimum booking is of one female and one male character. Can be any of Queen of Hearts and White Rabbit, Queen of Hearts and Mad Hatter, Alice and Mad Hatter, Alice and White Rabbit. If booking 3+ characters, any can be chosen and Characters are not available solo as standard.
Technical requirements:
- Ceilings in performance space minimum height 9 foot.
- Private secure dressing room close to performance space, access to toilet without going through guests/audience. Dressing room needs to be accessible to the performance space on stilts (think wheelchair access - lifts are fine, stairs are not.
- Normal height doorways and normal ceilings are fine for accessing performance space, so long as the performance location itself has 9+ foot ceilings) and contain a sturdy table at waist height (to sit on while putting on stilts).
- Drinking water must be provided; food is not necessary but appreciated when available.
STANDARD LENGTH OF PERFORMANCE
3 x 30 minute sets within a 3 hour period. We recommend 2 x 30 minutes sets for events with less than 100 guests. For large events, extra sets are available up to 5 x 30 minute sets.
