FAQs
How It Works
The team arrives two hours before your guests to discreetly set up the sound system, ensuring the surprise remains intact. They'll change into the venue's uniform and mimic the staff by helping with tasks such as pouring wine, refilling water, and clearing glasses to become noticeable. When desserts are served, they will transition from staff to performers, bursting into song to entertain your guests.
How Does The Surprise Start?
The surprise begins when a performer, seemingly carrying a tray of spoons, pretends to trip as they walk through the room—creating a slight commotion to capture everyone's attention. This initiation is designed to shift the mood from dining to entertainment, ensuring it adds to the venue's ambiance without causing disruptions like poor service or interruptive speeches. It's all about enhancing the joy of your event.
When Does The Surprise Start?
The performance starts right after the last dessert has been served. This timing is strategic to ensure everyone is seated and attentive. Performing post-dessert helps avoid interruptions that might occur if guests were moving around between courses. This approach also aligns with the venue's schedule, allowing the top table to finish eating without rushing, ensuring the act's introduction is seamless and impactful.
How Long Will The Show Be?
The show typically lasts about 30 minutes, covering 7 songs with an optional 8th song for an encore. This duration is optimal to maintain guest engagement without overstaying the performance's welcome. The set list is varied, spanning Classical to Rat Pack styles. If you have a particular song in mind that isn't listed, they can accommodate new song requests with at least 4 weeks' notice, provided a suitable backing track is available.
Do You Provide Your Own Equipment?
Yes, the team provides all necessary PA systems and radio mics. For venues hosting more than 200 guests or particularly large spaces, a more robust PA system may be required. If needed, arrangements for additional equipment can be made to accommodate larger audiences, though this may incur additional costs.
