Chosen Strings have performed for many well-established artists and venues, both within the UK and internationally, and were chosen to compose and perform a modern symphony for strings and voice on BBC television. They are constantly in demand to perform at events ranging from weddings and corporate functions to parties, recordings and television appearances.

Having played for the Man Booker Prize Awards, the Monte Carlo Television Festival and the National Music Awards in London, Chosen Strings are highly experienced at performing for all kinds of events, and are dedicated to ensuring that their programme creates the perfect atmosphere for your guests. Chosen Strings have performed recitals aboard Holland America’s and Cunard’s luxury cruise ships; at prestigious venues such as the Grosvenor House and Hilton on Park Lane hotels; and at Westminster Abbey.

Chosen Strings have also been invited to perform alongside a host of well-known popular artists, such as Katie Melua, Jesse J, Enya, Rod Stewart and Stereophonics.

All Chosen Strings artists have been classically trained at respected conservatories and are renowned for their stunning attention to appearance and detail.

Chosen Strings have a wide and varied repertoire, incorporating classical, opera, jazz and pop, and are dedicated to helping you find the perfect music for your event. They are happy to search for music that is not on their current repertoire lists and can even offer to arrange music that is not in print. They have arranged music by artists such as Pharrell Williams, Sam Smith and Ellie Golding, and have built up an enviable reputation for performing arrangements of such modern classics.

CHOSEN STRINGS DUO
The ideal choice where the fuller sound of the trio or quartet is not required. The duo creates a delicate and sophisticated musical backdrop for any special occasion and has an impressive repertoire, from classical to pop music.

CHOSEN STRINGS TRIO
Violin, viola, cello is the most popular of all our ensembles and retains much of the warmth of the quartet while maintaining the intimacy of a duo. It has an impressively diverse repertoire which is continually being broadened in response to client requests. The Chosen Strings members who make up our trios are accustomed to performing at all kinds of events.

CHOSEN STRINGS QUARTET
This group of four musicians (violin, violin, viola, cello) has a wonderfully rich sound and access to an extensive and varied repertoire. It’s the perfect choice for larger events. Chosen Strings quartet is arguably the most traditional of the group and is in high demand throughout the year to perform across the UK at events from award ceremonies to weddings and private parties.

CHOSEN STRING ORCHESTRA
An all-enveloping warmth and richness filling your venue with sound. Our string orchestra can feature anywhere between 6 and 20 Strings members. The size of the orchestral ensemble enables great flexibility in terms of repertoire and has an auditory power all its own.
