The Silly Men

The Silly Men is a collaboration of the minds of two men who should know better! Putting on their costumes transforms them into the characters with hilarious results. They like to be as loud and ridiculous as possible so that they attract attention over large areas for their impromptu walkabout performances.

They will seize any opportunity to interact with people and draw them into their playful parodies! All themed characters combine carefully choreographed and rehearsed pieces and the always unexpected delights of improvising with whatever situations they may encounter.

The 2 wardens will ‘warden’ just about anything! From street/town/city and corporate events to festivals, parties and product launches. In fact, just tell them what to warden and watch them take charge with hilarious consequences.

The wardens are completely dedicated to their jobs and with the jurisdiction to issue tickets (which can be tailored and printed specifically for your event) for just about any ridiculous rule or law that they see fit to invent. These may include: walking without due care and attention, wearing a loud shirt in a built up area, possession of an offensive child, whistling an infectious song or just walking whilst using a mobile.

Anything with wheels can fall foul of bad parking (using their portable roll out double yellow lines), balding tyres, or simply be pulled over for a random safety check or speeding (yes they have a speed camera too)! Watch out or you may find that you end up with a ticket!

It’s not all about tickets though for these two loveable, laughable interactive characters like nothing more than to stop for a good old chat and if there is any music playing they love to show off their crazy dance moves.

Immaculately turned out, they wear their uniforms with pride. The Wardens are loud, bold and colourful and will gather crowds as they administrate their ridiculous rules and regulations.

Perfect for any event indoors or out.

Bert and Ernie are good old salt of the Earth, lovable East End cockney geezers. Truth is they don’t get out of London much. In fact this is their first time!

Having won a competition in “The Mirror” newspaper to attend your event, in your town, they are completely beside themselves with happiness. Enjoy the delights of watching as they marvel at all the new and exciting things they find on their first trip away.

Forever on the lookout for a good photo to take home and show the family! Always after a bit of sunshine to top up the ever reddening tan and constantly on the lookout for some decent chips with a nice bit of gravy and mushy peas!

Mischief makers have a wicked sense of humour. What they lack in height they more than make up for in personality!

They will have you clutching your sides with laughter as they babble on about everything and nothing in their hilarious high pitched voices. They sing, they dance, they tell jokes, and they perform magic. Their talent is endless, as is their ability to keep talking.

This is a static installation show/walkabout act suitable for all ages and events both indoors and out.

The whole installation is completely self-contained using wireless amps, mics and the latest in electronic voice changing technology.

They sing, they dance, tell terrible jokes and they’ll baffle you with their mischievous magic tricks whilst bantering nonstop in their hilarious high pitched voices.

You can put them anywhere and they will amuse themselves and everyone who comes near with their own unique festive Christmas comedy capers

Bert and Ernie have been best buddies since school.

They both share a common interest in inventing things and have a whole range of ideas patent pending that they are excited to unveil to the world.

After 20 years of failed inventions (the solar panelled torch, glow in the dark sunglasses, the pedal powered wheelchair and the smoke alarm with snooze option), the boys think they have struck inventing gold! – or have they?

Having applied to Dragons Den to showcase their ideas and been accepted, Bert and Ernie have now hit the streets to practice their pitch and show off their new ideas.

But what is the idea?

As well as their other inventions to be showcased, Bert and Ernie have developed a range of ingenious pens, each one having its own novel gimmick and unique use.

To test out their patter Bert and Ernie need 5 people to act as Dragons for them…

3 x 30 minute or 2 x 45 minute sets

Just wanted to send you a note to say that Rick was just such a rock star on our stand this week at Black Hat Europe.  He is just such a super chap and totally wonderful to work with.  He just rocks up and gets on with things, we had some issues with our cabling and he sorted that out and then just keeps rolling all day.  He chats away with all the ‘customers’ and is a joy to work with.  All our team at Carbon Black, just love him.
