With magic, you can make your corporate event exceptional. To make your event memorable, mix things a little bit. Do not be afraid to be bold and make sure your corporate event integrates close up magic. You can hire a magician at your corporate event.

Corporate events typically need a certain level of participation, and a magician promotes interaction with an audience. You will be able to see how your guests are responding through the eruption of laughter, gasps, and applause. A corporate magician performs to one section of the guests at a time which means that the event does not focus on magic tricks.

THE RIGHT TIME TO HIRE A MAGICIAN

Drinks Receptions
One of the best times to hire a corporate magician is during a drinks reception. Magic entertainment will be performed among your guests as they arrive attracting their attention in small groups. Performing magic at a drinks reception is a deal breaker and is often used in networking events before an awards ceremony or after an exhibition to help create a buzz and make people talk.

Around Tables
Another way of making your corporate event memorable is by hiring a magician to perform around tables. The magician goes around tables performing a brief magic show for your guests.

After Dinner
One of the most popular times to have a magician at a corporate event is as after dinner entertainment. The great thing about booking magic as after-dinner entertainment is that many of your guests and clients will be involved in the show itself.  This type of performance usually can last a maximum of 30 minutes. It is advisable that you perform magic after dinner shortly before the dancing session starts.

Conversely, if you are hosting a small dinner (6 to 50 people), the magician can perform parlour style entertainment for one hour or less. It is a mixture of cabaret magic and table magic which is fantastic especially for intimate corporate events. This type of performance is interactive, humorous, mystifying, but above all else, highly entertaining.

IMPORTANCE OF MAGIC AT CORPORATE EVENTS

Breaking the Ice
Ice-breaking activities are very crucial in corporate events as they encourage interactions and brings guests to another social level. Magic is definitely one of the best ice-breaking activities that can be performed at a corporate event.

Leaving an audience speechless after a jaw-breaking magic trick will make your event unforgettable and forge a reputation for your company as one of the leading corporate organisations in your area.

Visual Stimulation
Psychologically, people’s brains and ears are trained on how to follow visual stimulation. Magic involves unusual, colourful, and exciting props – and this means that the guests will be attracted by the activity occurring on the stage. By engaging the audience’s senses, you improve the memorability of your corporate event. Therefore, a visually charismatic event like magic in your corporate event will help it get more value.

Escape from Reality
Sometimes people enjoy magic entertainment to escape from reality. The audience is taken into a world of imagination or forget about the tensions of the day before your event. What makes magic unique is that it captures the audience’s attention so much that they tend to forget about their concerns and are transmitted into a reality where the guests find anything is possible. Using a strolling or close-up magician as pre-dinner entertainment is an incredible way of creating an exciting atmosphere.

Just wanted to send you a note to say that Rick was just such a rock star on our stand this week at Black Hat Europe.  He is just such a super chap and totally wonderful to work with.  He just rocks up and gets on with things, we had some issues with our cabling and he sorted that out and then just keeps rolling all day.  He chats away with all the ‘customers’ and is a joy to work with.  All our team at Carbon Black, just love him.
