Few characters are as instantly associated with Britain as the unmistakable ceremonial guard. Our King’s Guard Characters take that familiar visual style and turn it into playful walkabout entertainment for events, celebrations and promotional occasions.
Available as male or female performers, the characters can appear at ground level for closer guest interaction or tower above the crowd on stilts for an even more striking entrance. Their bold ceremonial inspired uniforms naturally attract attention, making them ideal for welcoming guests, posing for photographs and creating entertaining encounters throughout the venue.
For something a little different, selected styling can introduce a contemporary twist with ballet inspired costumes, while discreet music can also accompany the performers to add another layer to the atmosphere.
From formal arrivals to roaming entertainment and larger public celebrations, King’s Guard Characters bring recognisable British styling together with friendly, theatrical interaction.
Give your guests a distinctly British welcome with a playful twist.

Why Choose this Act
King’s Guard Characters offer a flexible way to introduce British themed entertainment without requiring a stage or scheduled audience.
Ground based performers work particularly well for entrances, receptions and closer guest interaction, while the stilt walking option provides greater visibility for shopping centres, festivals, public events and larger venues.
The characters can welcome arrivals, circulate throughout the occasion and create photographs at different points during the booking, allowing the entertainment to become part of the event rather than interrupting it.
The choice of male or female performers, ground based or stilt formats and selected contemporary styling also gives organisers more scope to adapt the characters around the overall look and tone of the occasion.
