The Acoustic is a talented singer-guitarist-percussionist and songwriter who combines his own material with classics by some of the best singers from the 60s through to today.

He has been performing for over twenty years, and his influences include artists as diverse as Marvin Gaye, Jack Johnson, Stevie Wonder, George Michael, Prince, Jeff Buckley, Lenny Kravitz, Sting, Otis Redding, James Taylor, Curtis Mayfield, Pink Floyd and many, many more...

We can provide a right vibe for every type and size of event, and have performed at small, intimate weddings right through to national corporate awards ceremonies and celebrity bashes.

Once we know more about your event, we will be able to create the perfect set lists for you, based on the occasion and your audience. Of course, if there's a song you simply must have played, just let us know and we'll make sure it's included.

Jules

Jules is an acoustic guitarist who has performed all around the world. He has gained knowledge of a number of styles notably Jazz, Flamenco, Latin and African music.

For a relaxed and sensitive performance on the Spanish guitar, Jules plays a wide repertoire for your special event, wedding reception or conference.

Jules’ strength is to play popular melodies on the classical guitar that you will recognise and enjoy listening to. He makes sure he captures the mood of the event, and keeps his music firmly in the background, not playing too loud as to interrupt your flow of conversation.

His versatility is demonstrated by the variety of his set -he could start with the classical theme Romanza, follow with the jazz standard All The Things You Are, then perform the pop-classic Time After Time and go on with the Latin hit Mas Que Nada…

If you’d like to request a particular piece to be played at your event, Jules will be happy to learn it. Jules also has a great ear for a melody and can often improvise a great version of a tune if you ask him on the night, as long as he’s heard it before!

He recently performed at the Roots Festival in Amsterdam, the Diaspora Festival in Senegal and Territorios Festival in Seville.

He’s arranged and directed music for live BBC radio broadcasts, and performed on all the major BBC national radio stations.

Hew

Hew is a guitarist and singer who plays and sings beautifully and very authentically in Portuguese and English, and creates the ideal soft jazzy atmosphere for many receptions and events. He has held residencies at some of the finest venues in town, such as: The Trafalgar Square Hilton, The Trafalgar Square Hilton, The Conrad Hotel Chelsea, and The Gaucho in Piccadilly. He is influenced by classic soul, samba, jazz, funk, and blues, and plays both his own compositions and a wide range of soul, jazz and latin classics

Hew can perform as a solo artist or in duos, trios or quartets with other amazing musicians.

Hew can also play in duos with a sax player, another guitarist or a percussionist - or in a trio with a sax player and a percussionist.

Hew can provide and operate a 250w PA system, suitable for most rooms, and has his own transport.

Performance Time:
