COMEDY WAITERS

Comedy Waiters for Parties, Events, Weddings, Corporate Events, in fact any event where there’s people.

What happens? Well, imagine a hidden camera show, but without the cameras. Well that’s what’s going on when you book the Comedy Waiters.

When the waiters appear, the whispers in the room start and heads start to turn, “Are these guys for real?”

What we do!

We serve food as if we are real waiters, but with a little attitude (as if we don’t want to be there).

We don’t know much about what we are serving, apart from it could be hot!

Fairly unhelpful if questions are asked, such as ”How did you break your arm?”.
All the real staff are prepped beforehand to say that we are agency staff. This adds a bit more realism to the performance.

Your audience will be amazed as their table is being waited on by an unusual looking waiter.

When tables are cleared the faces of your guests will be shocked at the way the plates are stacked up high and the guests are asked to help with the clearing up by passing round the plates to the waiter. When the used cutlery goes into the pockets of the Comedy Waiters the laughs really start to get louder, The comedy waiters are a great way to throw a spanner in the works………

What we don’t do!

We don’t throw food.
We don’t take food away from anyone.
We don’t spill or drop food on anyone or thing.
We don’t interfere with food in anyway
We don’t swear or be offensive.
We don’t stop service

COMEDY SECURITY GUARDS / BOUNCERS

Have your guests become the victim of our unique security team who will do everything from body plant, to cause our so realistic metal detectors to go off! It’s all good fun and you get to choose the victims.

They work not only inside, but can also go outside causing chaos. They’re quite good at parking (directing) cars to parking spaces.

Imagine strict airport security but with two bumbling fools in charge of crowd control. And when the metal detectors go off (much to the embarrassment of the culprit) it’s like being stopped in Selfridges or Harrods for stealing (we’d imagine!).

Needless to say upon entering the party or event, guests are left in bewilderment and confusion at what they have witnessed. ‘Are they real?. They must be?. But how can they?’

How the act works

Imagine a hidden camera show without the cameras…

In a nutshell you are hiring two professional and experienced comedy actors to perform the characters of your choice (whether that’s the Comedy Waiters, Security Guards or both, it is up to you. You are paying for the actor’s time not the characters).

If you want both acts – The Security Guards will meet and greet your guests as they arrive, where all manner of subtle and odd going’s on occur, much to the bafflement of those around. With metal detectors, body planting and contradictions, it won’t be long before everyone is totally confused. All guests walk away wondering if they are real or not!!!

Once all guests have arrived and if food is on the menu, it is a quick change into the Comedy Waiters routine. The Aussie duo will cause endless cries of laughers with their ‘unique’ waiting style and demeanour. It is all great fun and a superb group energiser for any event.

The key is to ensure that nobody, or only a minimal number of people know that we’re going to be there and that we’re only actors and not the real thing! Otherwise it will disrupt the comedy effect and surprise.
